Burn it Down: Feminist Manifestos for the Revolution, by Breanne Fahs. Truly excellent writing from groups I’d never even heard of (and am now obsessed with).
Vow of Silence: The Assassination of Annie Mae. True crime, but so much more. An activist in the American Indian Movement, a mother, and an FBI target, and now a name I won’t forget.
Sinners (the movie and the soundtrack). I KNOW. I’m late to this party, but holy hell, this is good. One of those movies you think is one thing, then it shifts, then it shifts again. And the music!
